Touch screen stylus pens are pretty
inexpensive and you can easily find them for a few bucks. For instance,
the highly popular Pogo Sketch stylus among iPhone (and now iPad) users,
costs less than $10 and it can even be used with the multi-touch
trackpad of your Macbook.
For techies, it’s always trendy to
experiment something new with technology, so if you have some free
time, may be it would not be a bad idea to make your own stylus that
will work with iPhone, iPod, iPad and all other capacitive touch screen
devices.
Creating your own capacitive stylus is
not difficult at all, you just need to have an electric wire, an old
pen (plastic/metal all will work fine, just keep in mind the look of the
end product), and some conductive foam.
Conductive foam is often used in the
packaging of electronic chips and integrated circuits, it can be found
to any computer hardware shoppe so if you have bought some computer
component in the past (like extra RAM), you may already have all the
required material in your home.
watch the video and you will understand
the rest. It would give you is really feeling when your friends will say
“wow, where from you got your stylo”.
